Shipping & Returns

Shipping:

-All orders and usually processed and shipped between 24 to 48 business hours.Shipping fees are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for all freight charges for unaccepted or refused delivery of shipments.Refused shipments may incur up to a 20% restock fee, plus shipping cost. Hazardous material items cannot be shipped any method other than ground.

Return Policy Exceptions:

Orders returned without an RA# will be refused. PLEASE DO NOT SHIP ANY RETURNS TO OUR STATESVILLE NORTH CAROLINA ADDRESS- IT WILL BE REFUSED! When you receive your RA# from us, it will include the proper address to send the return. Note that inbound and outbound shipping charges are not refundable or reimbursable under any circumstance.Also note that we cannot take back any return without the original manufacturer's box and packing materials. Be sure to keep all of this until you are absolutely sure you won't be returning it!

-Flat panel and Projection TVs are not eligible for return to Rickies Discount Electronics. Most TVs/monitors 30" or larger and projection products require in-field service repairs under manufacturer's warranty. These products are not eligible for return. Please contact the appropriate manufacturer for troubleshooting and repair service. Also included are television stands, all home and office video projectors, toner cartridges,video games, computer games, computer software, CD duplicators, air conditioners, refrigerators. The manufacturers of these items require that all returns go through them via included warranties.

Mobile AV/Car Audio:

All Mobile AV/Car Audio comes with a 1 year warranty from the day it is purchased. Ship the item back to our address: 2580 Davie Ave. Statesville, NC, 28625. However, this only covers manufacturers defects causing the item to last less than one year. This does not cover mistakes, such as holes torn in surrounds in speakers, and broken connectors on speakers. Also, keep all original packaging because this is required in order to return a product.

Damages/Claims:

Defective Items - Defective items other then those mentioned above may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Due to the complexity of internet transactions, we do not offer exchanges. Any defective item must be shipped back to the address we give you with prepaid freight after you receive your RMA. However there may be some exceptions, Please send an email to us with the order number if a replacement order is made for a freight credit.

Non-Defective Items - ALL non-defective items other then those mentioned above may be returned for 30 days after delivery date. These returns will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Opened items must be in re-sellable condition and have ALL original packaging, accessories, manuals and warranty cards included. A larger restocking fee (20-50%) will be applied if the item is returned in a condition that prevents us from re-selling it. However, Car Audio products cannot be returned simply because you do not like an item or how it sounds.

Damaged Items - In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, please refuse shipment if the damage is external or notify us within 24 hours if the damage is concealed. WE CANNOT ACCEPT DAMAGE CLAIMS AFTER 24 HOURS from date of signature. Rickie's Discount Electronics, at it's sole discretion, will either ship a replacement or issue a full refund when, and if, the claim is settled with the carrier. Items shipped to freight forwarders must be inspected for damage prior to forwarding shipment. No damage claims will be accepted once an item has been signed for or left in possession of freight forwarder.
